Beken Learning Systems

Beken Learning Systems was founded in 2007 to commercialize educational technologies developed through an extensive five-year research and development program that took place within the Department of Mathematics at Colorado State University.

The company negotiated with the Colorado State University Research Foundation (CSURF) to license the technologies with the goal of bringing them to market to serve a broad audience, including Universities, Colleges, Community Colleges, and Primary (K-12) Schools.

Today, Beken's technology serves thousands of students each year, delivering online coursework, homework assignments, and online assessment, as well as supporting proctored testing in a secure computer center environment.

In 2010, Beken Learning Systems entered into an agreement with the University of Wyoming to produce a custom Mathematics Placement Exam that will begin operating as students begin orientations for the 2010/2011 school year.
